From a young age, Gabby’s infectious smile had the power to warm any heart, beginning with those of her mother, Cheryl, father, David, and sister, Jackie. As she grew, that same warmth and spirit came to be cherished by friends, classmates, teachers, teammates, and eventually, patients and colleagues in her work as a clinician.
Gabby excelled in all she pursued. She was a dedicated student, a valued member of her high school soccer team, and someone who effortlessly made others feel welcome. Her love for goats, her sense of humor, her cherished family, and her wide, diverse circle of friends were all central to the vibrant life she lived.
Gabby was a beacon of connection, making friends wherever she went. With humility and kindness, she had a gift for helping others see their own brilliance. In all that she did, she carried this message with her, especially through the many creative and innovative ideas she was so passionate about bringing to life. Her dreams always reflected her deep commitment to spreading joy and fostering inclusivity.
Inspired to turn that passion into a career, Gabby attended Quinnipiac University to study Occupational Therapy. There, she seamlessly brought her love for connection into her professional path. Her brilliance and warmth drew people to her like a magnet, filling her college years with laughter, friendship, and meaningful connection.

Undeterred by the challenges before her, she faced her battle with a resilience that spoke volumes about her strength.
Rather than seeing her diagnosis as a barrier, Gabby viewed it as an opportunity to connect even more deeply with the occupational therapy patients in her studies, understanding firsthand of the challenges they faced. Her journey became one of shared resilience and hope, transcending the conventional boundaries between caregiver and patient.
